Brass Instruments Repairs Include

• Job 1
  • Chemical cleaning, new corks, felts, and springs when necessary and lubrication.
• Job 2
  • Chemical cleaning, new corks, new felts and springs where necessary, minor dents removed, light soldering, tuning slides freed**, valves freed, precision valve adjustments and lubrication.
• Job 3
  • Chemical cleaning, new corks, felts and springs where necessary, major dents removed***, major soldering, some dismantling*, tuning slides freed**, valves precision refitted, lubrication.

Woodwind Instruments Repairs Include

• • Flute
  • Open Hole Flute

• Job 1
  • Pads reseated, precision key adjustment and lubrication
• Job 2
  • Replace up to five(5) pads, reseat all pads, replace necessary key corks, precision key adjustments, and lubrication (Flute pads steam seated.)
• Job 3
  • Replace up to 10 pads, reseat all pads, replace necessary key corks, precision key adjustments, minimal cleaning and lubrication. (Flute pads steam seated.)
• Job 4 (Repad)
  • All pads replaced, all corks replace, precision key adjustments, minor dents removed and lubrication. (Flute pads reseated.)
• Job 5 (Overhaul)
  • Includes all the items in the repad plus those listed below.

Saxophones

• Job 1
  • Full adjustments and lubrication
• Job 2
  • Replace necessary pads up to six, seat all pads, precision adjustments of keys, replace necessary corks and springs, minimal cleaning and lubrication.
• Job 3
  • Replace necessary pads up to twelve, seat all pads, precision adjustments of keys, replace necessary corks and springs, minimal cleaning and lubrication.
• Job 4 (Repad)
  • Replace all pads, corks, and felts, tone holes leveled, chemically cleaned, precision adjustments, and lubrication.

Trombones

• Job 1
  • Chemical cleaning, new corks, felts, springs where necessary, and lubrication.
• Job 2
  • Chemical cleaning, new corks, felts and springs where necessary, minor dents removed*, tuning slides freed**, slide adjustments, precision valve adjustments, and lubrication.
• Job 3
  • Chemical cleaning, new corks, felts and springs where necessary, major dents removed*, major soldering, tuning slides freed**, slide adjustments, precision valve adjustments, and lubrication.

*When dent removal necessitates dismantling of the instruments, there will be an extra charge.

**When a slide is frozen so badly that it requires dismantling of the instrument, there will be an extra charge.

***Not all major dents will be removed on Baritone, Tubas, or Sousaphones.
